Following the destruction of properties of both public and private companies by hoodlums who were involved in the so called End SARS protest, things have become harder for people who reside in the capital city of Cross River State, Calabar.

Before the destructions of government and private properties, a litre of fuel was sold at ₦160, but after the destructions, filling stations have all failed to reopen for the last 48 hours here in Calabar.
Roadside marketers popularly known as black markets have now increased the price of fuel to gain more interest for themselves.

Black marketers now sell a litre of fuel between the range of ₦350 and ₦500, it now depends on how you bargain with the marketer.
This has increased the prices of transportation and every other thing that requires fuel to be powered on.
