Nigerian Man Arrested For Allegedly Raping 13-Year-Old Girl To Death
The state police command of Lagos has arrested a Nigerian man for allegedly raping to death a young girl named Favour Okechukwu on Wednesday, 30 September, in Ejigbo area of Lagos state.
Adejobi said that the 13-Year-old girl was sent by her mom to go and buy a carton of Gala snacks for her at Olanrewaju road, Ejigbo at about 8.30pm.
Newzandar learnt that a search group was formed by the police after Favour did not return back home on time. His father reportedly joined the search party after he came back from work and his daughter was no where to be found.
Later, information came to the parents of favour that a girl was raped to death at Number 4 , Olanrewaju street Ejigbo.
Speaking on the incident, SP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, spokesperson of the state police command, stated that;
”When Favor did not return on time, a search party was raised to look for her, till when her father came back from work and himself started looking for the girl.
Later information got to them that a girl had been raped to death at No.4, Olanrewaju street Ejigbo. On getting there, the body of Favor Okechukwu was found dead in a room that belongs to one Ajom Brimcewil Tabi at No.4, Olanrewaju street, Ejigbo, Lagos.
The body was found stark naked with blood flowing out of her private part. ”
Adejobi further stated that the suspect has been arrested and is currently in detention.
