Popular Broadcaster, Ifedayo Olarinde aka Daddy Freeze, has said that he did not insult Bishop David Oyedepo of the Winners Chapel but that he only criticised the cleric.

He said this while reacting to a threat to his life by one of Oyedepo’s spiritual sons, Pastor David Ibiyeomie of Salvation Ministries.

Olarinde called on the police to hold the founder of Salvation Ministries, responsible should anything happen to him.

Daddy Freeze, who is the Convener of the Free the Sheep Movement and Leader of the Free Nation in Christ, said he didn’t insult Bishop Oyedepo but only pointed out the cleric’s misinterpretation of Ephesians chapter five.

As he put,“I didn’t insult Bishop Oyedepo. He quoted from Ephesians 5 verse 22 and I drew his attention to verse 21. Correcting someone scripturally is not an insult. Christ was criticised, Paul was criticised, Peter was criticised and even the Pharisees were criticised. So, there is no way you will preach a message from the scriptures that you will not get criticism. It is impossible,” Daddy Freeze added.
