The Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, Police Command at the weekend rescued two children who were always locked in the toilet by their guardian, Mrs. Loveth Ilobi, whenever she out of the house.
A statement by the Police Public Relations Officer of the Command, DSP Anjuguri Manzah, indicated that the children who were always starved and subjected to other inhuman treatment by the woman were rescued following the escape of one of them.
One of the children escaped through a window of their apartment in a two-storey building in Garki to get the help that led to their rescue.
“The FCT Police Command acting on a tip-off on Friday rescued two children that were allegedly locked in a toilet and subjected to inhuman treatment by their guardian who lives on the second floor of a two storey-building in FCDA quarters Garki.
